3 and 4 year old as tiny tots, U.6 up to U.17
WHERE?
Hensley Athletics Field, Eastgardens. Entry to field is via Corish Circle. (Field opposite Westfield Eastgardens)
WHEN?
Saturday mornings, 8.30am – 1pm (younger age groups will much finish earlier) Tiny Tots approx 10 am – u6/7/8 approx September – March
WHAT?
Track (both short and long distances, incl hurdles) & Field Athletics (discus, shot put, long jump, high jump, javelin (age dependent))
HOW MUCH?
$200 for the season (20+ competition weeks)
HOW TO REGISTER?

UNIFORM?
In order to compete you will need to purchase a Randwick Botany top and shorts. These are available to purchase at the track on any Saturday. The cost of the top is $35 and the shorts are $20, however if you purchase them together the cost is $55
PARENT INVOLVEMENT?
Unlike some other sports, parent participation is essential for Little Athletics. The more you can be involved, the more enjoyable it will be for your family.
WET WEATHER?
We do proceed in light rain. If it is raining heavily and the competition is cancelled we will post notification on our website and Facebook page by 7.30am.
COMMUNICATION?
RBLAC will include important information on the website under the ‘News’ menu.
ABILITY?
Our emphasis is on fun and fitness. Children can join with any level of ability. Children are given plenty of encouragement to improve.
TRAINING?
Part of the RBLAC membership enables all athletes to attend any or all of the training evenings that take place each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm-7pm at Hensley Athletics Field, Eastgardens
TRIALISTS?
If you would like to trial before becoming a member, you are welcome to trial for 2 consecutive Saturdays, with the cost being $20. Should you then wish to register as a full member, click on the ‘Registration’ tab in the website for instructions. While athletes are trialing they are ineligible to receive points for the events they enter.
VISITING ATHLETES?
Athletes from other Little Athletics Centres are welcome to attend our weekly competition. If you would like to attend please notify avecell@ampol.com.au with your details.
WHO DO WE NOTIFY IF WE CAN’T ATTEND A COMPETITION WEEK?
There’s no need to tell anyone.
